Robert "Bob" Dixon (BSEE)

Robert Dixon joined P&G when he was an intern just finishing college. Twenty-nine years later, he has led some of the P&G’s most challenging and successful projects and has worked with every operating unit and function within the Company.

Currently, Robert serves as Vice President for Global Business Services, one of the world’s largest shared service organizations with more than 70 services and operations around the globe. Robert works to ensure those services are delivering maximum value and support for the Company’s 300 branded household products.

Previously, Robert led the establishment of IT programs for the Company’s top retail customers, including Wal-Mart and Target, and in 1993 led the design for all IT programs across Europe, including sales, marketing, product supply, finance, HR and consumer research. He also started the Company’s SAP Global Center of Expertise, which integrated scores of systems into a single SAP platform; now P&G is one of the only companies in the world to run on a single global platform.

A business leader with line experiences in supply chain, marketing and IT, Robert believes in the importance of a strong and clear purpose: knowing what you stand for, and by what principle you will operate. Robert is a native of Atlanta and earned his degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was the first president of the Georgia Tech Chapter of the NSBE. He is married with 2 children and lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
